my friend and I want to go on an all-inclusive vacation in the caribbean. Where should we go?

chardonnay asked:

Primary concerns are safety, adult only but not couples only, limited budget, and that it truly is ALL inclusive, including drinks! Open to suggestions, thanks!

There are a ton of websites to choose from, I prefer cheapcarribean.com.

Right now the Dominican Republic is the cheapest. Try the Barcelo Capella it is running about 1500 for 2 for 8 days 7 nights in Feb this amount is for 2 people so about $750 per person

I had a blast in the Mayan Riveria.. There are a bunch of great 5star hotels there. I stay at the RUI’s (but take your choice, the other all looked nice too) + there is a BUNCH of stuff to do off the resort like:
    -Cozumel
    -Tulum
    -Xel-Ha
    -Chichén-Itzá

Trinidad and Tobago for carnival. Trust me, it’s a festival that you would have to experience for yourself to c y ppl call it the greatest show on earth.

I have been in Aruba and loved it! It was very safe (despite what you may heard on the news about Natalee Holloway…a fluke by the way). We rented a vehicle by ourselves and went to the other side of the island driving and exploring. It is a tiny island so you cannot really get lost. You can see the whole island in a day. We stayed at the Divi-Aruba All-Inclusive Resort. It was great. You wear a wristband and that allows you to eat and drink (premium drinks, liquour) all you want. The ocean is beautiful, it’s very warm and it’s just a dream. The airport is about 5 minutes away and they provide transportation to and from. It really is awesome. I cannot wait to go back myself.

try iBtraveling.com for some good ideas and great rates. That’s where I usually find a deal. As in all-inclusive…though, the drinks can be pretty watered down. I’d shoot for a cruise. If you’re young (20s), go Carnival, otherwise, any of the others.

I would go with anyway in the dominican republic. As far as i know most the of the hotels there are all inclusive. We stayed at the allegro in punta cana and it was faboulous. It wasnt adults only but the best part was you got to tap your own beer whenever you wanted…even breakfast if your into that sort of thing.

Dominican Republic is THE best place for quality hotels at low, all-inclusive prices. A lot of people will tell you to go to Mexico or Cuba, but there are several reasons why the DR is better.

    1) the law in this country states that no hotel can be higher than a palm tree. Therefore, your beach view is never impeaded by sky-scrapping monstronsities as in Cancun, Riveria Maya…

    2) Punta Cana in the D.R. has been constantly building over the last 5 years and most hotels are new or renovated. Also, because of all the competition, the prices are low – really low.

    3) There are no beaches like the D.R., especially Punta Cana. White, soft sands and azule blue waters are great for pictures.
