Magaluf is an extremely popular and busy holiday resort in Majorca, one of the Balearic Islands belonging to Spain. Its largest individual group of tourists come from the UK. The resort is highly seasonal as one would expect but in the summer months is famous around Europe for its vibrant nightlife and numerous clubbing venues. The holiday resort is not a particularly expensive place to go and language is generally not a problem there either. Cheap holidays to Magaluf are plentiful.
Magaluf is one of the biggest party towns in Europe, with a huge number of bars, pubs and nightclubs to cater for all kinds of tastes. In addition there are wonderful award winning white sandy beaches and a plethora of accommodate and on options. Numerous activities are on offer on the beaches of Magaluf from jet-skiing to snorkelling, scuba-diving and windsurfing.
The beach in Magaluf is one kilometre long. 200 metres away from the beach is the island of Sa Porrasa. You can get there with a small boat and since it is so close you may even be able swim there from the beach.
With so much competition out there and being such a popular resort, there are many last minute deals often available for cheap holidays to Magaluf. Going to your local travel agency may be a good start, since there are very likely to be offers available. Also, if you go slightly out of season, you may find it a more pleasant break since not only will it be considerably cheaper, but it will also be less crowded. In the summer months there can be huge numbers of people.
The main months that Magaluf is active are June, July and August while many of the numerous entertainment venues there completely close down over the winter. You should make sure you go at the right time if you don’t want to miss out!
